Performance Physical Therapy in Rockville Centre, NY
You Deserve Care That Treats You Like the Athlete You Are
If you have been through traditional PT and came out the other side feeling like nothing really changed, you are not alone. At Trident Physical Therapy, every session is one-on-one, every program is built around your specific body and your specific goals, and our providers are athletes who genuinely understand what it takes to get back to training.

Still Dealing With the Same Injury? Here Is Why That Keeps Happening.
You Were Treated Like a Number, Not an Athlete
Group sessions, hand-offs to aides, and a generic exercise sheet do not address why your injury keeps coming back. You need a provider who actually looks at how you move and builds a plan around your real goals.
Nobody Explained the Root Cause
If you do not understand why the injury happened, it is going to happen again. Traditional PT often manages symptoms without ever addressing what is actually driving the problem.
You Are Not Trying to Just Feel Okay
You are trying to get back to the gym, back on the field, or back under a barbell. A clinic that sets the bar at "functional" is not the right fit for someone with actual performance goals.
What Performance PT at Trident Actually Looks Like
One-on-one care from providers holding CSCS, SFMA, and Graston certifications who build every program around your sport, your movement history, and the athletic goals you are actually working toward.

Frequently Asked Questions
Cash-based PT raises questions and that is fair. Here are the ones we hear most often.
The difference comes down to attention and individualization. At Trident, every session is one-on-one with your physical therapist, no techs, no group formats, no hand-offs. Your program is built specifically around your body, your sport, and the goals you are working toward. We also prioritize education in every session so you understand what is happening and why, not just what exercises to do.
Cash-based care means every session is focused entirely on you. You are not competing for time with other patients, and your program is not shaped by what an insurance company will approve. Many clients find that fewer, more focused sessions produce better results than a longer course of generic treatment.
That depends on the injury, how long it has been going on, and your specific goals but we will be honest with you from the first evaluation. You will leave your initial session with a clear picture of what we are working with and a realistic timeline for getting back to the activities you care about.
In most cases, yes. We work to keep you moving as much as possible while managing load appropriately. Telling someone to stop doing everything they love is rarely the right answer, and we take a performance mindset to the question of what you can and cannot do during the process.
We are a cash-based clinic. We do not bill insurance directly. HSA and FSA are accepted. Upon request, we can provide a superbill that you can submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement though we cannot guarantee what your plan will cover.
